Seller Questions
Welcome to Praxel!
There’s lots of helpful information in our FAQs about what Praxel is all about and how selling works. Here’s a brief overview of how selling works:
Overview
Praxel is a therapeutic knowledge-share community, created by practitioners for practitioners. Our Praxel Creators are qualified allied health therapists just like you, who seek to share evidence- based, ready-to-use resources focussed on the child and adolescent client. Once you register for a Seller account, you can start uploading resources to your store. You can set your own prices, throw sales, and explore ways to promote and market your store. We take care of processing orders for you and help out with customer support.
Setting Up Your Store
Your catalog will exist at a unique store URL that’s created when you sign up as a Seller. You’ll be able to personalize your store page by uploading a profile image or logo, telling your visitors about yourself and your experience, adding a store banner and so on. Start uploading resources and showcase them on your store. At any time, you can edit your listings, alter the titles and descriptions, change your prices, and swap in revised versions of your products.
How We Pay You
Praxel allows you to request a withdraw from your account commission at any time. The only requirement is the minimum withdraw amount is $50 AUD. All payments are processed through Paypal. You can keep track of your sales and earnings in real time from your Creator Dashboard and your Creator Sales Report section.
We’re happy to switch your account back to a Buyer account! Just contact us and let us know.

Do post:
- activities
- task cards
- printables
- original books and poems
- worksheets
This list is not exhaustive and we aim to be as inclusive as possible, so don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s something you think we should add to this list.
There are also a few things that aren’t appropriate for Praxel.
Don’t post:
- Infringing resources. Don’t post resources that aren’t your original authorship (your work has to be your own). For more about copyright and trademark, click here.
- Inappropriate Content. Please make sure that the content you’re posting to Praxel is respectful of our community. For more on this, please take a look at our full policy here.
- Duplicate Listings. Each resource can be listed only once on Praxel.
- Resources directing Buyers to another sales channel. Don’t post resources that link to other online retailers or e-commerce sites.
- Resources for an inconsistent price. You’re welcome to offer your work in other online retail outlets and marketplaces, but it’s important that your Praxel Buyers are not being charged a higher price or being charged for something that you’ve posted for free somewhere else.
Subscriptions to external websites are not permitted. All resources posted on pRAXEL must fall within the Terms of Use: Praxel Terms of Use
In addition to these terms, it’s important that our Customer Experience team has access to your resources so they are able to provide technical support to your Buyers when needed. Additionally, we’re not able to support a recurring subscription payment model at this time.
If you’re ever in doubt whether something is right for Praxel, feel free to contact us!
Buyer Questions
From the Praxel home page, you have a few options:
- Use the search bar at the top of the page—just type in a keyword and go. You can sort your results by relevance, price, rating, or recency.
- Use the main search bar located in the middle of the opening section.
- Scroll down to view category tiles.
- Features and latest products are also located further down the home page.
- You can also use the drop down to acceess specific categories directly.
If you purchased resources on Praxel, you’ll find them on your Orders and also your Downloads page — the resource files have no expiration date and you can access them as many times as you need.
Make sure you’re logged in to Praxel, then click on the My Account link located at the top right of the site. The menu will open and you can click on the Orders and also your Downloads links. From these pages, you’ll find all of the resources you’ve previously purchased or accessed for free.
If you’ve seen your purchases in your account before, but can’t find them now, this usually means that you have more than one account on Praxel. We recommend trying to log in with any other email addresses you may have used to set up an account. If you need assistance just contact us here and we can help!
Copyright & Trademark
We take matters of intellectual property infringement very seriously. It’s important to us that all of our community members follow our rules and respect the intellectual property rights of others.
As a Praxel Creator, everything you post on Praxel should fall into one of the following buckets:
- An original resource that contains only content that you’ve created yourself (imagery, text, and everything else).
- An original resource that contains content you didn’t create but that you have the right to use (for example through a license for commercial use, explicit authorization from the creator, public domain content, or because of a fair use exception).
If we receive notice that a Praxel Creator has violated this rule by posting a resource that infringes on someone else’s intellectual property rights, we remove that resource from our site and that Praxel Creator risks having their Praxel account closed. You can find more here.
We’re here for you!
While we aren’t able to offer specific legal advice or guidance, we do understand just how tough these issues can be to navigate. It’s important to us that we’re doing whatever we can to support you in all aspects of your Praxel journey, and helping you understand your rights and the rules to follow to create great content is no exception.
If you have any specifi questions regarding this issue pleasw feel free to contact us.
It depends.
When you’re looking for images to include in your resource, it’s tempting to turn to Google images. Don’t do it. Just because you can access an image for free doesn’t mean you’re free to reuse it in your Praxel resources. It’s important to know whether the person who owns that image allows folks to use it, and what uses they allow.
The key is to make sure that you have the right to use anything you include in your resources. That includes photographs, clip art and other images, borders and other design elements, and so on.
As always, your safest bet is always to use only things you’ve created yourself, but we know that’s not practical for everyone. We can’t all be clip artists and font designers as well as amazing teachers and authors.
There are also lots of other websites of image and clip art libraries. It can be tough to know which sites to trust, and how to navigate their licensing rules, so it’s good to be cautious and read carefully. We’ve done some research for you and found a few sites you might want to check out.
Free/Public Domain:
- New York Public Library (Public Domain Digital Collection)
- Library of Congress Prints & Photographs catalog (Many of these images are stated to be in the public domain, although it’s important to make sure you’re reading the description for each image you want to use. The LOC does not make any guarantees about its rights assessment.)
Fair use is an exception built into copyright law which allows creators to use the copyrighted work of another without their permission. This is a very tricky exception because what you consider fair use may not be what the original copyright owner considers to be fair. The ultimate judge of what is fair is an actual judge in a court of law where these cases get settled. Decisions tend to depend on the facts of each case, so as a creator it’s hard to look to these cases for lessons you can apply to your own use of another’s content. For this reason, we highly recommend using only your own original work in your resources or getting the written permission of another creator before using their work in your own.
Commissions & Fees
All sales of products on the Praxel Resouces websites incur a commission. Our comission structure is a combined method of %31.75 + 0.30 per transaction.
All transactions processed through our website incur a 3rd party transaction fee.
These fees are as follows:
Credit Card / Debit Card / Stripe: 1.75% + 0.30
Refund Policy
At Praxel, the resources you purchase are delivered electronically. Unlike a physical product or book, you can’t (really) return a PDF, Word Document, or other file after it’s been downloaded or accessed. For that reason, all sales on Praxel of digital resources are considered final and nonrefundable.
General Technical
A ZIP file is a compressed folder that contains multiple files. ZIP files allow Practitioners to provide multiple files in one Praxel resource.
ZIP files need to be unzipped in order to extract the files inside. Both Windows and Mac OSX are able to unzip ZIP files without additional software. iPhones and iPads will require an additional app.
A PDF file is a commonly used graphic file format. Many resources on Praxel are in the PDF format. PDFs are best viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free from the Adobe website by clicking here.
Please note that in most cases, you won’t be able to edit a PDF. If you prefer purchasing editable formats, look for resources that offer other file types (like Word or PowerPoint) instead. You can also specify “editable” in the search bar when you search the site for resources. Some PDFs are semi-editable, meaning that you will be able to add text boxes but not change the layout or background.
If the file is a PDF, especially a PDF with a lot of graphics, it may look fine on your screen, but may not print out correctly. If you’re having trouble printing a PDF, please be sure that you’re opening the PDF with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Once this application is downloaded and installed to your computer:
- Open the PDF file with Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Click “Print”
- In the “Page Sizing & Handling” section, select “Shrink Oversized Pages” if needed
- Click on “Advanced”
- Check the “Print as Image” box
- Print the document
If you’re using a Windows device, you may see an error message that states the contents of the ZIP file are empty, specifically when opening PDF files within it. This tends to happen when the default program for downloading and extracting ZIP files on your device has changed.
To avoid any issues with downloading the ZIP file to your device, right click on the Praxel download link and choose ‘Save as…’ to save the ZIP file to your desktop.
Please be sure that your default ZIP file extraction software is correct. For example, you will not want to try extracting a ZIP file with a web browser such as Microsoft Edge as it won’t work properly. You can find more information on how to change your default software for ZIP files here:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028161/windows-10-change-default-programs
After extracting the files within the ZIP, we recommend opening PDF files with Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded for free here:
My Account
If you already have an account on Praxel, click the Sign in link near the top of the right hand side of the homepage. Next, simply enter your email or username and your password on the left. Once you’ve entered in the information, click Log in.
If you do not yet have an account, you can click the Register located on the Log in page.
If you’ve put your username and password in to the fields on the Login page, but are still having trouble, there are several things to look out for:
If you have more than one email address, it’s possible that a different email address is associated with your account. Are there any other email addresses you may have used to create your account?
Be sure that you are using the correct uppercase and lowercase characters for your password.
Be careful not to add extra spaces accidentally, especially if you’re copying and pasting your login information from somewhere.
- If you’re signing in on a mobile device or tablet, the first character in a field is usually defaulted to uppercase. Please be sure to use a lowercase character if need be.
If you have more than one account, check that you aren’t mixing up the usernames and passwords.
If all of your information is correct and you still can’t log in, it’s possible that your antivirus software’s security settings may be set too high. One way to test this is to try logging in from a different computer.
Check with your network administrator or tech support to see if there’s a firewall set up by your workplace that blocks the use of outside sites.
If you’re unable to log in because you’ve forgotten your username or password, click here to reset your password.
